Meet Absence Reporting
Our goal is to have every Tiger Shark swim in every meet, but we recognize that our swimmers may have other obligations throughout the season. As such, we ask that you let us know as soon as you are aware of anything that will prevent your swimmer from attending a meet.
Note: The steps below can be used to indicate that your swimmer WILL or WILL NOT attend a meet. However, it is not necessary to mark every meet your swimmer can attend. We assume you’re swimmer is attending a meet unless you tell us other wise. Always tell us when they will NOT attend.
Click on the Calendars menu and select "Season Schedule." This will bring up a schedule with every event scheduled for the entire season, including social events and volunteer needs outside of meets.
You will find a button marked "Meet Entry" for each scheduled meet.
Click the Meet Entry button, and you will see your swimmer's name(s). Click the Edit button under your swimmer's name(s).
There are 3 options to choose from. Undeclared means we assume your swimmer will be swimming. You don't have to tell us your swimmer will be at a meet, although that would be amazing if you did! We are more concerned about knowing if they will NOT attend. If you like, you can select "Attending this meet" for your swimmers and we do appreciate that effort. But please note that unless you choose "Not attending this meet" we are counting on your swimmer to be there!
If your swimmer can't attend a meet at the last minute due to illness, injury or some other unforeseen circumstance, please text our team parents at the numbers listed below with the swimmer's name, age group and reason for absence
