Sponsorship Opportunities

Dear Valued Community Members and Business Owners,

LOST is a proud member of the Southwest Houston Recreational Swim League which includes teams from Missouri City, Sugar Land, Stafford, and Southwest Houston. Since our formation in 1988, we have focused on several key principles that we believe are the foundation of our successful summer swim program:

Teaching Proper Technique: By providing time for daily practice and remediation of skills with our coaching staff, our swimmers learn effective and efficient techniques to keep them at the top of their game.
Developing Confidence: Through the teaching of proper technique and a disciplined approach to workouts designed to maximize potential, our swimmers develop a stronger sense of themselves and their abilities. Improvements result in greater self-confidence and a desire to continue to perform the work necessary to excel. This increased self-confidence has the potential to further manifest itself in other facets of their lives, both socially and academically.
Making Swimming and Competition Fun: Our swimmers look forward to the fun times they have at practice and organized social events. They enjoy the opportunity to create friendships with swimmers from other teams. Meets are a blast!!! We foster this environment with a passion for the sport of swimming, and the enjoyment of seeing each of our swimmers develop throughout the season. We build opportunities into each week to highlight improvements in time and technique, and spotlight swimmers who have shown outstanding dedication, effort and attitude

We are asking for donations to assist in funding pool improvements and social events, and to purchase a variety of practice items, awards and incentives for our swimmers. We also use donations to help keep the cost of registration down – we’re pleased to say the Tiger Sharks are one of the most affordable teams in the area, making it possible for all types of households to join our team. We are open to swimmers from all areas, ages 5-18, and make room for families who could not otherwise afford this type of summer activity. We are in this for the kids and the love of the sport of swimming!

The growth and success of our team would not be possible without the support of our sponsors, parents, and coaches. We appreciate the belief in our program and hope to register 200 swimmers this year. As our sponsor, your name will be seen by our team families and the hundreds of other families attending our swim meets.

Please make all contributions payable to Lake Olympia Swim Team, and mail to 6140 Highway 6 #102, Missouri City, TX 77459 by May 1 so you can receive all the benefits of sponsorship. The Lake Olympia Tiger Sharks are a recognized 501(c)3 charitable organization and your donation is tax-deductible. Alternatively, you can email [email protected] with your name, company name (if applicable) and sponsorship amount and an invoice will be sent that can be paid online with a credit card or bank transfer.
